Giving students hands-on access to instruments they would not otherwise have. Before this, music was something many students only listened to, now they can actively create it.

With these instruments, students quickly build confidence as they learn to play rhythms and melodies, work together in groups, and express their own musical ideas. The xylophones make it easy for all students to be successful, which encourages participation and reduces fear of making mistakes.

Beyond music skills, students are developing focus, teamwork, and self-confidence. Many who were once hesitant are now excited to participate and perform. They also explore music from different cultures, helping them connect with the world around them.

This grant has created meaningful opportunities for students to grow, express themselves, and take pride in their learning, both in the classroom and during performances for their families and school community.
