I am a computer teacher at the high school but feel I am so much more than that. I am the school mom, helper, stress reliever, chaos coordinator, resolution center, and life coach to many students here. My class is not only a computer class but a social setting and social character class. I build into my curriculum how to survive in the real world which includes real life scenarios, financial situations, and family issues. I believe having a classroom that students can feel like its their safe place. I want them to come to someone and I want them to be able to see that their future is what they make it. I asked for game of life games. This resource has been incredibly valuable in helping high school students better understand real-world concepts in an engaging and meaningful way. Students are gaining pratical insights into decision making, financial responsibility, and life planning.

I also asked for lock down supplies. I pray we never need them but your generosity has made a meaningful difference in helping create a safer and more prepared learning environment for my students. Knowing that I have the proper resources in place brings peace of mind to both myself and my students.
