Thank you to the LPS Foundation, partners, and donors for considering and funding my grant proposal to develop social-emotional learning centers for my students. Your investment in this initiative significantly enhanced our classroom's learning environment, helping us meet the emotional and developmental needs of every student in my class.

With your generous support, I was able to provide essential resources, including student journals, social-emotional literature, drawing materials, play-dough, puzzles, and other creative tools, such as a LEGO table and a resource center to organize these resources for easier access. These resources are not simply materials-they served as opportunities for students to safely explore their emotions, practice self-regulation, and build the skills necessary to navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom.

My goal is to cultivate a nurturing, structured, safe environment where my students feel seen, heard, and supported. By integrating these social-emotional centers into daily instruction, my students have been proactively addressing behaviors, reducing disruptions, and strengthening their ability to focus and succeed academically.
