This grant helped me purchase simple, hands-on tools that make learning fun and easy to understand, Indi Cars, challenge cards, and color tiles used for beginner coding activities. With these tools, students program a small robot car by placing colored tiles on the floor. Each color tells the car what to do, like move forward, turn, or stop. As the car follows their directions, students can immediately see if their plan worked or if they need to try again. This helps them learn through trial and error in a way that feels like play.

The challenge cards give students step-by-step activities that start simple and gradually become more challenging. This allows every student to participate, no matter their skill level, and build confidence as they go. These resources have made a big difference in our classroom. Students are more engaged, excited to learn, and eager to work together. They are building important skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and persistence without even realizing it, because they are having so much fun! Thanks to this grant, my students are not just using technology, they are learning how it works and how to think creatively.
