GRANT
$1,219.60
Thanks to the generous support of the Lawton Public School Foundation, our school was able to purchase high-interest books designed specifically for middle school readers. These books were selected to match students’ reading levels while also focusing on topics that truly capture their attention. Many students struggle to stay engaged with traditional texts, but when they find a book that interests them, their confidence and reading skills begin to grow. This grant has helped us expand our classroom library, giving students more opportunities to read independently, discuss books with their peers, and practice important comprehension strategies. Because of this support, our students are building stronger reading skills and developing a greater enjoyment of reading. These skills will benefit them across all subjects and throughout their education.
