With the grant I recieved I purchased more Uklulele's. We did not have enough for our whole classroom and had to share. We now have enough for every student in class and I have been using them for our 3rd- 5th grade. Now that every student can use a Uklulele at the same time we can go over our lesson together and not have to wait as much for others to catch up. These stringed instuments are perfect for small hands and the size of the Uklulele really makes this instrument a great starter instrument for childtren. Playing any instrument takes time and endurance and so far our Scholars have been learning the strings, hand postions, chords and some ways to pluck the strings and hold their instrument. I am very greatful for this donation as we had trouble waiting around to share in our classes.
