LPS Foundation Supports New Teachers

LPS Foundation Supports New Teachers

Lawton Public Schools hold a regular “First Class Meetings” for new teachers in the district, where they can learn more about curriculum, communication, student behavior, and more. At the most recent First Class Meeting, we were proud to offer a chance for a little something extra. Allen Dickey of Eisenhower High School won a $300 grant giveaway, saying he was “very excited to have this as a way to purchase resources for his students!” Three other new teachers won tickets to our annual Golden Corral breakfast fundraiser on the 17th: Robert West of Eisenhower Middle School, Kenneth Jones of Eisenhower High School, and Krystal Hays of Almor West Elementary. They collectively said they were “thrilled that the Foundation thought of First Class teachers.”

We’re proud to continue supporting new teachers in our district! Congratulations to these lucky winners.
