Pillar of The Month

April, 2023: Arvest Bank

April, 2023: Arvest Bank

Arvest Bank has been a proud supporter of Lawton Public Schools since they first came to the area over 26 years ago. They have provided monetary support for the athletic, arts and music departments. In conjunction with the Lawton Chamber, Arvest hosts an annual school supply drive as well as a We Love Teachers social media campaign where they award 3 teachers in Lawton a $500 donation to use for classroom needs.

“At Arvest, we believe in donating our time and resources to help shape, support and strengthen the communities where we live, work and play. We understand that being a community bank means being a part of the community; a responsibility we take seriously. Whenever someone is working to make a positive difference in our communities, we are honored to support and work alongside them.”
-Angela Spradlin, VP, Business Banking Manager, Arvest Bank

Arvest Bank has been a donor for the LPSF since 2012, and for the past 3 years they’ve been the meal sponsor for our Pillar appreciation dinner. Throughout their time supporting the foundation, Arvest has had various associates serve on our board.

“Arvest understands how important education is to our children, our communities, and our future. We are proud to support an organization that invests in both the lives of our teachers and students. We would encourage anyone that is able to, to become a pillar, to ensure LPSF can continue its mission to enhance the educational experience of Lawton Public School students and faculty through technology, programs, materials and extra-curricular activities.”
-Angela Spradlin, VP, Business Banking Manager, Arvest Bank

Without the support of Pillars like Arvest, LPSF would not be able to provide the support and resources that we do to the teachers and students of Lawton Public Schools.

“Arvest is a true advocate for public education in Lawton. Their employees are always willing to help us with events as they do for many of the nonprofits in Lawton. We are so thankful they have chosen to support us over the years.”
