Becker-Rabon Funeral Home was founded by the Becker family in 1940, and was purchased by the Rabon family in 1975. Chris Rabon joined the firm as a funeral director in 1986 and continues to operate the firm, together with his wife Dawn, in the original location.
Becker-Rabon Funeral home has been a pillar for the LPSF since 2013.
“Our firm has always looked for opportunities to contribute to the betterment of area students. That is why the opportunity to become a Pillar for LPSF was so appealing. A strong community requires an investment in the community. Could there be a better investment than the education of our children?”
-Chris Rabon, Funeral Director
In addition to being a pillar, Judge Meaders always participates in LPSF’s annual fundraisers and golf tournament.
“We always appreciate when community members, like the Meaders, that don’t currently have any children in our district, still realize that public education in Lawton needs additional support from community members. It’s folks like him that we can depend on to always be in our corner.”
-Lawton Public School Foundation
Without the support of Pillars like Becker-Rabon Funeral Home, LPSF would not be able to provide the support and resources that we do to the teachers and students of Lawton Public Schools.
